Rainy Day in Bar Harbor

May 31, 2008 by bobcatou

I spent a good but wet day in Bar Harbor Saturday. I didn’t want to stay in my room so I challenged the elements on foot and left my motorcycle behind at my motel.

As I entered the downtown. I ate breakfast at Jordan’s Restaurant. A hometown type restaurant that serves great breakfasts. The “Maine Delight” omelet was on my plate this day.

After breakfast, I continued to walk around town and wandered through several shops. I enjoy some very good Chocolate Cookie Dough Fudge at Ben & Bill’s Chocolate Emporium

I enjoyed wandering around the docks and other areas even though the weather was pretty dreary. I do plan to go back again tomorrow or Monday and enjoy some more of the sites. Below are a few more pictures from my day.

Sunday I plan to set up a campsite in The Acadia National Park and ride down to Camden. My brother knows a Marina Manager in Camden, so I plan to go say hi and introduce myself.

Until my next post…
